Trondheim is a transport hub, ideally located in Central Norway, with easy access to both domestic and international destinations.

Travelling here is easy, regardless of whether you come by plane, train, bus, car or boat. The airport is just 32 km from the city centre, with close to 70 domestic arrivals a day. Getting into town is easy, and visitors can choose to get here by private car, taxi, bus or train. The train stops in the middle of the city centre, just a stone’s throw away from Hurtigruten and Kystekspressen.

Getting around the city once you’re here is just as easy. The city centre is compact and varied, and best experienced on foot. A efficient network of buses take you to interesting sites around the city centre, such as historic Lade with its nature path and Ringve Museum, or the unique Trøndelag Folk Museum at Sverresborg.

Trondheim has two taxi companies, and it is easy to grab a taxi from convenient taxi stops around town.
