About Visit Trondheim

Visit Trondheim AS is a destination company that was established on  January 1st 1992.
The company is also referred to as "the tourist office" in Trondheim and has two main tasks:

* Run the tourist information office in Trondheim.
* Promote Trondheim as a tourism city focusing on the congress market.

Visit Trondheim AS is owned by 25 companies, the Municipality of Trondheim and Stjørdal Municipality.
The company cooperates with about 190 companies in Trondheim.

The company's main business is to promote the Trondheim region as a tourism destination, the company shall not own, operate or finance activities or events.
