How do I get to Trondheim?
Air - Trondheim Airport Værnes has non-stop flights to Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Stockholm, London, Malaga, Frankfurt and Reykjavik, in addition to many daily flights to all major domestic destinations.
The airport is approximately 35 km (30 minutes) from the city centre.
Train – Trondheim has an international train connection to Sundsvall in Sweden, via Åre and Östersund. In addition, several northbound and southbound trains depart daily.
Bus – Several express buses arrive daily, from Oslo and Bergen.
Trondheim is a compact city, and most sights and facilities are within walking distance.
